100th Anniversary Flagpoles Project
In 2008 we were able to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fosselyngen Lodge #82 with the installation of two flagpoles at the entrance of Norway House (one Norwegian flag and one American).

Year in High School (must be a senior in high school)
1. Applicant must have maintained a 3.0 grade point average through the last three consecutive years of high school or the first two consecutive years of college as a full time student. Include a copy of necessary transcript. Indicate grade point average year.
2. Applicant must prove acceptance or attendance at a university, college or trade school on a full time basis for the fall semester. (Include a copy.)
3. Applicant must attach a recommendation letter from the lodge president.
4. Applicant must attach a recommendation letter from a current teacher.
5. Include a letter indicating future goals, why they should be awarded this scholarship.
6. Applicants parent, grandparent must be a member in good standing of Fosselyngen Lodge #82. A member in good standing is identified as being a Fosselyngen member for a minimum of two years and working a minimum of ten volunteer hours during those two years.
7. Applicant may acknowledge this scholarship with their presence at a meeting or a written acknowledgement.
This scholarship is non-transferable and may be revoked and be repayable by the student should the student drop out during the fall semester.
